Edit: oops.. wrong forum... how do I edit/move to BW?
I've developed plenty of films and never had a bad result... but this time.. it's weird.
The 400tx was processed in xtol 1:1 for 8m45s, agitation 30s then 10s every minute, followed by 1 minute stop bath (just water), followed by 5 minutes fixer (adofix plus 1+9).
The film has weird brownish pattern, spaning from the middle towards the sprockets, but the sprocekts are not affected as much. In addition, there is what seems to be a white spot in the part of film which was not exposed at all. I don't know if it's relevant, but the film also some purple tint, which I thought was characteristic of t-max, not tri-x.
The only difference I've made this time was using Adofix rather than tetenal I've been using before.
My first thought was under/over fixing. But then I saw the post about x-rays and remembered I did go through airport security... could that be the cause? I bought the film at destination, so I only went through security once.
I'm crushed, it was the only film/camera I took on vacations :-(
