Drizzly and misty here in Cumbria yesterday-dreich as they would say in Glasgow and Edinburgh, where I was yesterday. I was shooting B &W so that worked well (no Buddhist monks in Glasgow this time though!). The sun did come out eventually...while I was on the train home! Ah well...

78F, sunny, some clouds.

Will be heading back to Washington state next week.

Merdic as they say in the local lingo. Definitely weather for ducks...

It's supposed to be 7-10" of rain with a high chance of tornados. They've closed down the local schools, but none of the local businesses are closed. This should be a fun day!

Left Palm Springs yesterday to spend summer and fall in Washington.

Weather was in the 80's, very windy, mosquitos biting me all the time - first time that's ever happened to me here. I'm sure I'll get West Nile Virus. Yes... I'm certain I have it - will probably die.

boulder colorado, cool and drizzly today, and all week up to now. supposed to be pretty nice for the memorial day weekend.

We have a very good spring, yesterday and today temps in the mid 70s about 20 degrees below our average for the low Southwest deserts. I guess will pay for this summer.

High 70's in Oregon's Willamette valley. Shadow cast on field grass by one of the large prehistoric birds that inhabit this region.

Raining in Oslo

Blustery and showery here in Cumbria with a few sunny spells...well it is the Bank Holiday weekend after all!

More and more thunder-showers in S Alberta, while 'half way up' the western edge (by the Rocky Mountain Range) they have 'enjoyed' the somewhat 'late snow-fall'.. in the middle of June no less
A 'someone' has no regard for this year's calendar

In the low desert 103, 9% humidity, light wind, like a convection oven.

That is usually my response to someone who says, "but it is a dry heat."

Desert heat - what? In Palm Springs, where I was just a month ago, it can be 100-105F with ~8% humidity and it feels just warm; it's pleasant.

95F in Washington or Oregon, with the humidity, is just nasty.

People from the Great Lakes region or southern U.S. just laugh at our "humidity" though.

We have been having a little " EARTHQUAKE WEATHER" here the last 2 days and some in Alaska . China Lake area with a 6. something yesterday and a 7.1 this evening, wonder if its gunna add up to the "BIG ONE" tomorrow?

Not me, I'm not laughing. Our temperature has already been in the upper 90sF. High humidity also. Summer started here on or before June 1, 2019, not June 21 and will last 4 more months or until the first of October. A darkroom without an air conditioner here doubles as a sauna. Unlike other places, here we photograph in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Darkroom work (air-conditioned) is done during hot-humid weather in the Summer when it also is too hot and miserable to take pictures outside.............Regards!
