I don't know, this was taken on the Sunshine Coast, on an absolutely beautiful sunny day (and those are sunbathers too ):

Just back from a week of 90f sun filled days at the shore, returned home to 60f and rain.

Ssshhhh! We must keep up the pretence that it rains here all the time, or everyone will want to live here. Be careful to invite your family and friends to visit in November.

It *does* rain in the Pacific Northwest. All the time. It rains all day, every day, but especially on weekends or holidays when it rains for two extra days every day. In fact the only time it doesn't rain is at night between 1am and 4am. Also, we never see the Sun during the day: like the rain, the Sun comes out only at night between 1am and 4am.

...and that photo I posted a few days ago - ignore it. I photoshopped all the rain out.

Here in the Desert Southwest, still in the triple digits, (F) it is the time of the year with great sunsets.

In the U.K. the weather has seemed to have gone this year from a long hot summer to winter without an intervening autumn.

I work in Seattle and live on Vashon Island. The last couple days as been nice, 70s and clear or partly cloudy. Next week will be mild and cloudy or partly cloudy with a few showers. This far north the days start getting short fast!

Light rain arrived at mid-day. Quite nice -- stopped me from digging a couple of postholes, too. First rain for a long time! Knew it was coming from the warm early morning breeze.

16C here in Eastern Ontario.

Mind you, it's a much higher number about a mile south of us;
that would be about 60, in NY State. Sounds a lot warmer.

At -40 degrees, it does not make much difference.

It's been raining steadily all day at my house at 7,500 feet, pure Fall bliss. I would love it if I did not see the sun for a few months, hope we have a cold and snowy Winter.

There are lines of storms going through the general Western PA area, but I think we have a force field over us. One big storm went just a bit North of us and another is going by South of us. The coach canceled soccer practice tonight based on the Tornado Watch we're under and the fact that he could hear thunder, but I don't think we'll end up with more than sprinkles.
Overall, it's been warmer and muggier than usual lately. Which sucks for hiking for me.

Sunny for the most part (and low teens) for my trek to the Sunshine Coast; shot a little over two pro-packs of E100G (12 rolls?), as well as a bit of E100Vs of the crabbers at Davis Bay, etc. Looks like my decision to avoid the Rockies was sound: I see that Calgary/Banff/Kannanaskis has had a run on snow shovels?

Southern Alberta also awoke to a few inches of 'the white cold stuff' (@-1°C right now) I'm kind of glad we decided to 'harvest' our two "beef steak tomato' plants (on Sunday) before ether the snow or the first 'killing' frost. To our surprise, we got 50+ pounds of 'harvest'.. a significant percentage of which hasalready been 'shared' with our neighbours.

We're just getting lots of liquid...the rain here in north Cumbria shows no sign of stopping today.

Yesterday was a stunning hot clear autumn day and today I was planning to test my two rolls of ektachrome in the beautiful Swiss Alps in the morning mist. And it's raining. The whole week! I hate you Murphy!

Sorry to hear that...today it's a lovely sunny day and I have to go to work, so you have my sympathies (at least I'll have a nice ride in though).
