Wet -- storming. I hear wind-driven rain hit the side of my house. I sat by the river during a break in the rain this afternoon and noticed it was slowly rising. Friday and the weekend are suppose to be nice, but I got fifteen 8x10 sheets of Tri-X developed while it rained, and the river does look good getting all excited again. I don't mind the rain.

Rather erratic, which is to be expected for a Seattle spring. Fairly nice on Friday, then dry, but cloudy on Saturday. Back to the storms by Sunday. Supposed to dry out again on Monday. One forecasting site is saying near 70 next Thursday. That'd be nice.

Here, feels like early March, not mid-June. Just had a thunderstorm roll through about an hour ago. Temperature is about 55 deg F. Normal would be about 65-70.

sunny and hot here these days ( 80ºF ), enough that i have been able to power wash and prepare the deck for a good 2 coats this week.
as long as it doesn't rain in between now and then or while i am painting i'll be happy.

Right around 100 F today, could be a another warm summer here in So-Cal. Black Dog, put in a request for rain but it did not arrive, will have to ask for weather tracking next time.

Today, and for the past few days, it has felt and feels like what it is: the middle of June. Temperatures in the upper 90s F. with one day over 100F. What makes it really feel like summer though is the humidity, in the 70s percent range. It won't be long now before tap-water temperature in the darkroom will be in the 80s and later in the low 90s. This is why we hide in the airconditioned darkroom this time of year and try to do our photography in winter.......Regards!

Well, rainy season is back with a vengeance here in Japan, so it is currently pouring with rain outside. Add the high daytime temperatures (30 C or higher) plus humidity, you've got one of the most trying times to be in Japan.

Here it is the most amazingly pleasant first day of summer. Sunny, early evening at 17C, with gentle, fresh cool breezes.

Backpacking weather. I'm off tomorrow for a solo 5 night trip along Redwood Creek. Low elevation, hike up the creek bed, 300+ foot tall redwoods on all sides. The 4x5 and the Rolleicord. Ten holders (Tech Pan) for the 4x5, 10 rolls (various B&W) for the Rollei. But I am packing my pack tonight -- maybe 8 film holders...we'll see! And if it is too much weight/volume, I'll take ten 4x5 holders and leave the Rollei. The 4x5 will be carried on the tripod and over the shoulder on the way in and in the pack on the way out.

Expecting high 70s and high 40s/low 50s at night...some clouds occasionally. A bit diffent than my last backpack there last Thanksgiving -- four nights and the ground stayed frozen all day.

Clouds break...sky clears...sun returns: Out the door at 5:30 pm with an M4 w/50 'Cron and two rolls of Tri-X. Return home at 8:20 with two rolls shot and a feeling that I got several good ones.

A short break in the clouds, then sun comes out. The clouds return, the sun hides. Ad infinitum...
Same here in North Wales, with added rain...

Been rather March-like lately. Reminds me of 2011, weather-wise, except for some summer-like weather before the solstice began. Ever since then, it feels like we've been stuck in early spring weather. For the most part, rainy, cloudy, and cool. Want snow? Higher elevations of the Cascades and, later this week, portions of Idaho have it.

Instead of the persistent ridging we've had the past couple years that gave us almost perfect summers for those of us who like it sunny and warm, we have persistent troughing going on.

With the heat index, it hit 116 yesterday here in St Petersburg, Fl. Wow. I love this city, but the summers are crazy hot.

Deepest winter here. Over night temperature has plunged to 8C and it'll only get to 22C in the middle of the day. Brrrr!
