As predicted, nice and cloudy up here on the mountain this afternoon. How cloudy? Testing the TMax3200 (shooting at EI800, given its undetermined age ), I was shooting, for the most part, at 1/250 @ F5.6 and F8

Rainy and windy. Some sunbreaks earlier on, but clouded up fast in the afternoon, with very heavy rain and wind in the 35-45 mph range. Today is supposed to be nicer. We'll see.

Second Day of 100 deg. F. Not done with summer yet.
Yeah, they said it was going to be in the upper 80's inland here a few days ago. They lied.

At 7:30 this morning it was 45F when I started out on a bike ride. Ended up around 84F for a high today, sunny, and windy. Next couple days are also supposed to be sunny and windy, but not as warm as today. Upper 70's, which is kind of unusual for mid-October.

A light drizzle with intermittent fog this afternoon. So...I took one of my F2AS bodies, loaded with TMax3200, and went for an hour-long walk around the neighborhood and over to the SFU campus to finish off a the roll started earlier. Given the unknown provenance of said film (i.e. it is alleged to be ca 2005(?), but it also alleged to have been frozen since its purchase), I rated it (as I noted in an earlier post) at EI 800, shooting at 1/250 @ F4/5.6 for most of my shots. Fingers are crossed that the film is still usable.

It's 75*, partly cloudy, and calm, I'm actually sitting on the enclosed back porch scanning some HP5+ I shot yesterday.

lovely day today but noticibly colder. Autumn is here and leaves are turning.

Lots of lightning, thunder, and some rain starting about 11pm. Very welcome after the blazing heat we've been having.

19C (according to the thermometer hanging off a tree in the corner of my patio) and sunny, here atop Burnaby Mountain. Out the door, shortly, to shoot some fall colors...

It's been sunny and unseasonably warm today in Devon. Lets hope it stays that way.

Sounds like Southern California has more rain than it can handle now. It's gone from the sublime to the rediculous.

Rain showers right now. Was partly sunny earlier and around 70 deg F.

A little chilly in PA and MD now. This weekend was the 4th annual sleepout / Glamp-in (dads and kids outside, moms inside) at my brother-in-law's in MD. There was frost on the cars when we got up and we drove through snow near Somerset on the PA turnpike on the way home.
The days are likely numbered for the leaves. They really only started turning last week and I think we hit peak quickly. I love the light in the fall, too.

Parts of it. The rest of us are ready for more. Just not all at once!
Some places have gone from the submarine to the ridiculous...

Where I live, the rain just goes around us and we are still dry as a bone, but cooler now with some nice clouds over head.
