Weather where you are

Seconded!

OK, I am gonna make an offer, which I hope is supported unanimously on the West Coast and on the East Coast...

If the East Coasters will send some of their precipitation out west...
...the West Coasters will send of our heat out east!

I'm in.

.....maybe a coast to coast water main.......we're suppose to be seeing 90's this week possibly. Being this early in the year could be a scary thought for an early upcoming summer......

Yeah, we seem to have skipped spring and gone from 0F-ish to 70.

I can't help with shooting around Des Moines - that's about 2 hours from here and I haven't ventured that way. I've gone to St. Joseph, MO and Omaha, NE when I need to get a city fix.

Thanks. Maybe I'll just go find an empty field and do my best impression of some Sujimoto work...

Screwy autumn weather.
Barely scraped 18.8C yesterday, with wind-chill down to 13.
Next Wednesday back up to 32C.

Let's see, on Wednesday it was 72*f and last night it was spitting snow, it'll be back to 75*f on Tuesday. Never a dull moment in Tennessee.

88F here today- warm and sunny and lots of allergies!

walked across the golden gate bridge today. 72 degrees with no wind and no fog. could not be a better day, unless it was may. We need rain, not good weather

Spring has sprung in the UK we've had a few lovely days recently over Easter, and they forecast a few more for the rest of this week.

Getting a little rain coming from that storm up north, don't think it will help to much but better than none.

No single leaf at the trees, but nevertheless I had to use sunblocker for my bike ride.
Even saw girls in Bikini.

Even a girl red as a lobster.

The same Spring like weather that we have grown accustom to most of the time in Southern California.

Erratic. Sunny and nice one moment, next moment, rain and thunder... Usual spring weather in the Seattle area.

And just a few miles north of John we had a nice hail dump from the same erratic weather. Not much sun here today, we were under the so-called "convergence zone" the entire afternoon. Lightning, thunder, wind, rain, and hail...

(A convergence zone happens when the strong westerly winds off the Pacific Ocean are split by the Olympic Mountains on the Peninsula. They then wrap around that range and collide together again on the back (east) side, usually somewhere north of Seattle. That collision forces strong updrafting, which results in magnified weather events. Think of a large boulder in a fast river splitting the flow, then imagine the churning whitewater immediately behind that boulder when the split flows crash back together.)

Rain! And the mountains got some snow-even the foothills got a dusting.

I bet it's still raining in West Cornwall as it's only nearly 2 years since OP asked.

10.5 inches of rain between Wednesday night and today.

Some pictures taken on the way to work yesterday.

Rain on and off all through today, tapering off this evening.

Nice surprise, hearing some thunder...
