Yeah, we got some rain, too. Started this afternoon, not a lot. The forecast had said no rain till Tuesday.

Seriously windy yesterday, but at least the sun did decide to put in an appearance.

Today is 30f and snow/sleet. I've spent the last three days getting frozen, buried in snow, then iced over, just to try to shoot a deer.

You would do better to shoot a deer rather than try to shoot a dear.

I would shoot one, if one were to step out where I could see it. 21f and cloudy this morning, pushed out two large black bears, watched a pack of coyotes for about half an hour. I think I know why I haven't seen deer.

Ya, same here in Norwalk, what we need is some cold, wet, grey sky's Oregon cabin fever weather to perk this place up!!

Hey! I grew up in Norwalk. On Elaine Street just north of Alondra Blvd. Went to Excelsior High School. Now I live where it rains 10+ months out of every 12. Cold, wet, grey skies...

:sad:

So guess what? Today it's cold, wet, and grey. And windy, just to add some variety. But at least the leftover snow finally melted.

:sad::sad:

Showery around midday, then it surprisingly dried up. A lot milder. ~53-54 deg F.

Tuesday we got almost an inch and a half, Wednesday 3/4 of an inch, and a little more Thursday. The nice thing is, it was steady with periodic letups and not so strong as to cause problems. In the nearby foothills and mountains, there was a lot more, with flash flooding in the usual places. Now there are beautiful snow-capped mountains to look at.

Yes, back to the shirt sleeve weather, blue skies, nice clouds, mountains with snow, ... just another boring day in Southern California while the rest of the country builds its character by digging out of the snow.

Yup! :D

We have plenty of characters here. No need to build any more.

So now the dilemma- what to do, what to do... Go up to the snow, go to the beach with the wetsuit and catch some post-storm swells, head out to the desert...

Every day is a sunny day so I will spend today in the darkroom.

Why did George Eastman start Kodak in Rochester New York? Because it is the large natural darkroom.
