Windier than a bean eater's convention today, but some decent sunny spells and an amazing full moon.

Sunny, cool and dry. Stunning foliage, we live in a glass house in the woods, monadnock region.

Looks like Mother Nature is preparing to play another game of "Flush The Toilet" over the Pacific Northwest for the next two weeks or so. Saturday was rather interesting, too. Showery in the morning, partly sunny and mild in the afternoon, then, thunderstorms to end the day. There was also a waterspout (tornado over water for those who are unfamiliar) over Puget Sound near Tacoma.

It was 60ish here yesterday. Today - high of 28 with a wind chill around 14. I might be persuaded to move slightly further south someday.

You must have wanted to share your Iowa weather and sent some south. Tonight, here in Louisiana, we are expecting a freeze...Regards:confused:

Sorry! Actually, I heard it started with a typhoon that went through Alaska? Blame Canada!

36.5F/2.5C with 30mph/48kmh winds. That's a wind chill of 24F/-4C, with a low tonight of 26F/-3C. AHHH!!! So warm!!!

I didn't even have to wear a heavy coat today...

(Actually, it IS so warm. Abnormally warm so far this season. We had flowers start blooming again last week. I only just started the wood stove two nights ago. That's a full month later than the average.)

Ken

P.S. We probably won't hear anything from those living in the Northern Plains states. I think they're all dead by now. Frozen to death. Our Canadian friends are laughing hysterically...

We are looking at some wet weather. No complaints there! And we'll get some sun here and there...it will be beautiful. The Fall colors are peaking along the Trinity River (Hwy 299). Most of the maples have turned and dropped their leaves under the redwoods north of here...some color will hang around for most of November.

Temperature range: Lows in the low 50'sF and Highs in the mid-60's with some rain forecasted for the next 10 days.
