A Leica is a Leica. Who cares what kind it is. I have a Leica Hi8 camera. I'm part of the club.

I vote to keep this thread going.
 

If bulk is your major concern, a Pentax MX is smaller than the Leica, and much easier to find for not much money.

While Mr. Griggs will accept the generous CL offer, it apparently is not the end of this “ask,” as it does not precisely meet the specifications originally posted.

Can I expect a Holiday bump of this thread from Huss?

Yup. My MX with the 40mm M lens on it fits in my inside jacket pocket with the strap around my neck, for easy carry and quick access.
 

Now the OP should start requesting a set of Leica lenses for his new found CL.
 
As I've noted in this thread a couple of times, I do have FSU lenses and filters I can use with the M to LTM adapter which darkosaric included with the CL.

Those will serve until I find other or Leica glass that I like better, in either LTM or M.

No - there would have to be a lot more chutzpa for it to be Ken Rockwell - and there would be ads everywhere!

I do no know how to grade this, but, the glass, the knobs, window frames, lever, and screws look ok and, if the take-up spool is OK, together with the mirrors and prism, it might just be a bargain to Leica red shutter collectors, no?
