Medalist! Great camera. I have earlier I, but with coated lens and black anodized focusing mount. A camera built to last.

Makiflex Heliar Auto 2 by Nokton48, on Flickr

A new to me Makiflex Auto arrived today from Prague. This one came with the Voigtlander Heliar 210mm F4.5 in Makiflex Auto iris. I've been watching this camera for years, decided to pull the trigger. So now I have three Auto Makiflexes and a Makiflex Standard. I really wanted the Heliar Auto lens............... I'll clean it up as I have time and it will go into rotation with my other cameras.

This one has over 26,000 actuations and has been customized a bit. Quite interesting

What a nice camera. I am impressed (or surprised) that Bronica tried to simultaneously support three camera systems, 645, 6x6, and 6x7. They had to develop 3 separate lens lines. But Mamiya was even more ambitious with 6 camera lines, each with its own lenses (RB, RZ, Mamiya 6, Mamiya 7, TLR, and 645). Maybe I should even include a 7th, the Universal in its Polaroid version). Will we ever see this much product diversity again?
