If there's a Cirkut printing frame, what are the chances of a Cirkut camera underneath everything? Now
that would be worth a lot.
In general, I'm seeing 3 levels of things:
- very few gems in good condition, but there'd be at least some. Like that Kodascope if it works. Maybe the Konica TLR with its set of lenses, it looked clean and I see only one recent sale,
$1k for a set (also dusty, mind you).
- decent stuff that's worth a lot combined, like a lot of film holders. The best part is that they're not really affected by mould, just wipe the dust out and you're good to go. Did I see some plastic 5x7" or 8x10" a page back? I'm still interested in seeing these 'poster sized' ones, although as mentioned there's a chance of them just being contact-printing frames and worth not much.
- a whole lot of, unfortunately, junk. possibly good cameras killed by mould, or just stuff that's so ubiquitous that there's no market, like Brownies and cheap P&S.
- And a whole lot more of stuff that's worth something to the right person, like manuals. Most people wouldn't care, but the one person who desperately wants it might pay $20 for it.
It's still definitely worth sorting out the decent stuff to find more gems, keep at it...
