Many thanks to Richard Ross for a very nice print which arrived yesterday.

Cheers

Hi Phill,

Hope it got there in one piece, I sent that First Class almost two weeks ago!

Andy.

Andy

Maybe I should clarify that I received it today. It was delivered sometime in the past but the wife forgot to tell me

Times up! :surprised:

Please confirm to me by PM that you have both sent out your print, and received a print from another in the circle for Round 1.

Also let me know if you wish to participate in Round 2, the pairings for which I shall compile, and circulate next weekend, so do not delay  .

Those that did not participate in Round 1, but wish to do so in Round 2 please PM their mailing address to me.

As a reminder the Rules are:
1. Your photograph must have originated from a film exposed in a proper camera. 2. Your print should be on 10x8 paper. 3. Paper type and finish is your choice, as is the subject. 4. The image may be any size or format. 5. Toning or other treatment is optional. 6. Inkjet prints or computer manipulated images are ineligible. 7. The addition of explanatory notes is optional, but your recipient may appreciate some background information, and if you do not say who it is from, they cannot thank you for it. 8. Enjoy the experience.

I'd like to join in but not sure if I can do it for round 2 (is that by next weekend?). Is it possible to just join in sometimes or would that mess it up?

p.s. i 'm probably being really stupid but I can't see the UK All Regions forum on the main sub-forum page, I saw this in New Posts. I don't usually look at new posts because there are just too many since my last visit, so I've missed this thread until now. I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction so I can find it more easily!

The Round 2 pairings will be circulated next weekend for those that have sent out their Round 1 prints or newer entrants that wish to start in Round 2.
If you are unsure if you can commit, then wait until you can before joining in on a later round.

Judging by the number of replies I’ve had it’s beginning to look like Round 2 will be a very select affair. Only half of you have so far confirmed that you have sent your prints, and expressed an interest in the next round.

My outgoing print is drying as I type - I'm waiting to actually post it tomorrow before confirming (the good news is that the next round's print is sitting on the drying screen next to it - I don't normally print 8x10 so had no spares - I do now  )...

Cheers, Bob.

Received a very nice print from Mike Groves today - a fellow Mamiya TLR user!

I will send out my print before the end of the week - probably on Thursday.

Thanks Lachlan, glad you liked it. There seems to be quite a cult following for the old Mamiya's here. I love mine, although I wish it wasn't so heavy sometimes!

Cheers

Thank you to FrankB for the truly gawgeous print of Scaleber Force (and the dig about it being taken in Yorkshire read and inwardly digested!). I'd have been more than happy to be producing prints like that when I was new to FB printing.

I'm going to have to sit out the next round because a holiday in France beckons, but I'll definitely be putting my name down for future exchanges.

Glad you liked it, Ailsa!

Yours will be matted, framed and prominently displayed and, if you're off back to its location, then please take your camera!

can I just check a few things? I understood we would be sending one print on to one person and recieving one from another, So I sent to AndyK but am receiving one from someone else - is this right, or should we have been exchanging a print with the named person - my head hurts!

Leon,

Yes, my understanding is that your print should be coming in from another member. I think Ailsa and I just happened to draw one another by chance (that's what Dave claims, anyway...! Hmmmm...!).

All the best,

Frank

Sounds like Dave's random number generator was playing up! Or was he playing cupid?
