Ecomentalist that is an excellent word - I'm going to get that on a t-shirt to wear with pride.

now back to business .... today, a gorgeous pt/pd print of an Orchid arrived on my doorstep from my sender. I've pm'd him but publically, thanks kindly.

I've just received a delightful print from Bob. Fabulous tones, great composition and all this on a paper completely new to me; Foma Fomatone Matt. Great Stuff!

Be sure to put "(c) Jeremy Clarkson"! :D

Shouldn't that be "publicly"... as in "in a pub"...?!

Oh all right, it's my first shout in Ross, then!

That's a Clarkson-ism? well, there is no way I'm going to put a clarksonism on my back. Cant stand him.

Cobblers! You spent most of the morning hanging on for dear life to the standing stones!

You may claim it's some druidic ecomentalist tradition but I reckon it was the ale!

:D

As the man sang; I remember it well.

I don't think any of us are in a hurry to forget that day! Brrrrrrrrr! I think that's now the image that Wikipedia uses to define "wind-chill"...

And to think Messrs McLean and Hogan were snug in that campervan with bacon butties and coffee...!

I'm mean, I could understand Peter being a southern-softie...! But Les? Even after I said he could wear two tee-shirts? A disgrace to his Geordie heritage!

:D

I have organised the last 2 of the APUG UK print exchanges, and strangely enough have received no print from either. For this reason, and after some considerable thought, I'm throwing in the towel. It is a bit of a kick in the teeth when you take the time and effort to put something like this together and also spend time and money participating in exchanging prints. So I'm out of it

Who wants to take up the challenge of Round 5?

If your still unhappy with organising then I'll take up the mantle and organise round 5.

Cheers

Martin

Ok Martin - it's yours! I'll pm you a list of people who havent honoured their part of round 3 and 4 so far (other than those who have let me know of difficulties) then it's over to you for whenever you want round 5 to start.

I'd be interested in joining round 5 of the UK print exchange.

Tom.

When I'm ready I'll start a new thread asking for names and addresses and outlining the rules. I expect this to be on Saturday or Sunday this coming weekend.

Cheers

Martin

I have got two for the price of one! Thanks Carl for the two prints, one pinhole and the tractor deal. You struck a chord here, me being a farmer's son and my brother who collects old tractors like fanatics collect cameras. Both pictures are a fine piece of photography. What is the make of the van? The fate of your farm is shared by our local farm buildings, all being converted to offices and houses.

Many thanks.
Tony

Hi Tony

Glad you liked the images - the truck is a Thornycroft Sturmy 6 I think!

All the best, Carl
