That's a shame Art, I for one was looking forward to meeting you.
Same here. I really pushed to be there this week, but in the end it didn't make business sense. I see the UK Autumn gathering is being planned, so there might be a chance that I could link up then (if the stars and planets align and the sacrificed virgin was worthy enough - LOL).

Regards, Art.

And now for a stupid question: Is there a place near Mobberley where I can pick up a few (dozen) rolls of 120 FP4+?

I wonder if Ilford have an on-site sales desk? That could be rather tempting!

Otherwise it might be easier to order them from Mathers (http://www.mathersoflancashire.co.uk), who I've found very reliable and will deliver next day in the UK.

Thanks. He's been found - 150 miles away. The collective detective skills of a dozen 14 year-olds, the internet & SMS tracked him down. (they did better than the old bill).
Once he's home me & his mum can finally relax & maybe even get some sleep.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, it sounds like it'll be a very interesting day.

I think it was mentioned somewhere before, but I believe I'm not the only person staying at the Travelodge at Knutsford/M6 tonight. I'll probably stop off at the littlechef next door for breakfast, before setting off to Mobberley, if anyone would like to join me (I'll be the tall one, with long hair, looking exhausted from the late drive in tonight  )

Hi Ole,
I found accommodation at
www.virtual-knutsford.co.uk
I hope to get a taxi from Knutsford station. Good luck.

Meet you there, perhaps? I was planning something of the same, taxi from the station or wherever.

I'll be in "The Rose & Crown", as I mentioned earlier.

Before I log off and start packing, my (mobile) phone number is +47 905 00 975

Ben, is this actually at the knutsford services or in Knutsford itself? as I may stop off for some breakfast myself.

Yes, it's at the Knutsford Services, on the M6 between Junction 18 & 19, apparently.

OK, might see you there first thing. If not I look forward to meeting you all at the Ilford site.

Good luck and have fun....

PS Expecting a report in full color

Well, I went, I saw and had a good day all in. The Ilford factory is bigger than you might think, certainly it was quite big when we were walking round. Simon was generous both with his time and there were goodies to share, they fed us too!

There was a lot to see, and the enthusiasm of the team who were showing us round was obvious - these were people who were proud of what they did and seemed to be turning that into a thriving business. Well done to everyone at Ilford for the day.
