It appears that both articles were once linked to in a Photrio thread. The thread is still there dated about 2012 or so but the url has sadly gone as have many useful urls from that time
I cannot find any other link anywhere but others's ability to navigate the internet will no doubt be better than mine

f someone can tell me how to do it that would be good.
They are a pdf which I "printed to pdf" from the BJP website. I could extract just the text but would lose the images of the BJP which would detract from their authenticity. What format are the articles in at the moment?

Great if you can, Tom. It at least sounds as if we are getting there. If you want to, you could send me the pdf via e-mail and I could work out how to get it up here. tom@tomkershaw.com
So if I may ask for the future, is there an easy way to transfer a download into a permanent "possession" that cannot be removed such as a pdf if its a written article for instance?
If I came across insulting, Drew, I apologize. That wasn't my intention.Whose talking about pixel peepers, Alan? I was responsible for a sizable chunk of a very successful business, and grew it at a rapid pace even in the recession years when all our competitors were starving. I know who spends real money, and who doesn't. In my field, I sold the very best stuff. Period. But well-informed technical information as well as personal networking was key to that. It is also that same network that got me into a few high-end gallery venues quite early. If i didn't have a least a good background truly understanding color and certain pigments and formulations, I wouldn't have caught the attention of serious painters with strong gallery links. But when it came to equipment sales, I didn't have time for "tire kickers" either.
Has Greg Davis deleted his account/profile? Some resources posted by him are also not available. I hope this is just a glitch or a temporary time away from Photrio and LTF.
I have just tried your links and get what I assume is the same responses as you which are respectively: "User profile is not available" and You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action"Has Greg Davis deleted his account/profile? "Feedback"..? I would say "downright hostility".
Not uncommon around here, sadly.
Sad indeed. He is a photographer, artist and educator and I value his contributions to the art of photography. It is unbelievable to me to see how some members of this forum are constantly trying to push people away from the community.
Is there a section entitled Mod Chat where there is a thread entitled Greg Davis. I have been here for 16 years or so but only use the main forum so I am no expert in knowing my way around PhotrioMod chat had a thread with title "Greg Davis" so I assume this is not an accident. And considering the feedback he has got here - I would probably leave too
Yeah, some of the other posters in this thread were downright shitheads. There was no reason for the hostility that was spewed here.Sad indeed. Apparently, there is a chat room reserved for the moderators use only. I tried to access the discussion, but could not. It looks like this thread really stirred up the pot.Is there a section entitled Mod Chat where there is a thread entitled Greg Davis. I can't find any chat room for mod but I am not a mod so I would not have access to it but it must be visible to some as vedostuu has seen it and the thread pertaining to Greg DavisApparently, there is a chat room reserved for the moderators use only. I try to take a look at Greg's videos anyway outside of Photrio but if he has totally withdrawn then only Photrio loses. I wish I had never started this thread, given the way it went. I have ended up learning a great deal but not of it was worth Greg feeling he had to totally withdraw from Photrio.

Photrio needs a new feature: a way for mods to label grumpy retirees with an EQ of a toddler with a bright yellow "man-child" tag right next to "member" or "contributor", so newcomers won't take their insults seriously.
I can't believe we lost Greg Davis, he's been definitely up there in the top 10 contributors to this site, but the salty loudmouth who's never done anything here is still lurking, ready to attack any practicing photographer who triggers his insecurities.
Yes there is no reason why he'd abandon his channel. It would look however as if he has abandoned Photrio and who can blame him. He doesn't need us at all whereas some of us need and can benefit from him. Of course those who do not need him need not be concerned but they have diminished Photrio for the rest of us. Promotion of "the greater good for the greater number" on any forum rests with the forum's management and ownership i.e. the mods and ultimately SeanAt least Greg still has his youtube channel up. I have caught a few errors that he has made,
but I would have contacted him privately to discuss the issue. There was no need to have him
trashed publicly the way he was here.
