Toddstew is back in touch and is ready to receive Portfolio II.

Jim Chinn is sitting out while he rebuilds his darkroom and Alex Hawley is withdrawing for now, so next up for Portfolio I is Chuck P.

Since both portfolios are on schedule to make it back to New York around the same time and a number of people have withdrawn, maybe it's time to make a count of how many are participating and to consider cutting back to one portfolio. If no one else wants to take on the role of project coordinator, it would be easier for me to have only one portfolio to keep track of for the next round.

David, I intend to stay in.

I cannot in the near future be sure I'll have good access to the net, otherwise I would have been delighted to step in and take over your role.

Mick.

Thanks, Mick and John. I have no intention of shutting the project down--just figuring out how to manage it amid other obligations.

David,
Since I'll be putting another print in soon I plan to participate next year. Looking forward to seeing what's in the case.

There was movement at the station, for the word had passed around
That the portfolio from old apug had got away.

Apologies to Banjo Paterson!

Great news.

I received the portfolio from Chuck yesterday. It's just some amazing work there! Very inspiring. Thank
you all for contributing!
I need a week-end to select and print my contribution, so it should be on its way to JD sometime next week.

Thanks for keeping it moving, folks. I've been traveling with somewhat intermittent internet for the past couple of weeks and won't be home for a few more weeks yet. If you need to know who is next, the list is at the top of this thread.

I am not getting any response from JD Callow. I'll wait a few days more, but if I get no response, do I just switch to the next person on the list?

I'd hold out for one from him, if he'd like to still be involved. JD's prints are something to see.

Mr Callow just PM'd me that he needs to skip this round. I guess it goes to the Mr Goldfarb next.

I guess I'll have to see if I can find myself and convince myself to participate, and then figure out my address, and remind myself of the combo. Okay, well, I'll do it.

Portfolio received. I may not have a chance to look at it closely for another day or two. Since the other one is almost all the way back around to New York, maybe it's best to wait for it, reconfirm participation for round 5, and then if possible combine them into one portfolio. The case has held up pretty well for something that must have been shipped now 80-100 times.

I'm hanging on to one, waiting for the other to consolidate into one portfolio.
