Ok, so my film scanner is working, albeit at this time I only have a slide carrier...
While I do not solve the problem of a decent neg carrier (no, I will not clip my neg strips in single frames...)
I'm posting a scan of a test neg on the technical gallery.
I would appreciate opinions of the scan quality (contrast, brightness, etc - the photo is lousy, just the view out of one window in a sunny day).
