Well, I finally did what I've been threatening to do for the last two years: I quit my day job. I'm now devoting the majority of my working hours to the success of my current gallery and to opening the next one in Perth (Australia) by September.
That's not to say I've given up my career in professional geology all-together, but I'll be relying on it much less than I was yesterday. However, now I've got the freedom and time to make my passion for photography into my new career. It's a scary thought, but also very exciting.
How do you jump for joy and tremble in trepidation at the same time?
Cheers,
Graeme
