Tim Rudman toning book

Does anyone know if there's a reprint for this book? The book used to cost around $29. Prices on Amazon now and eBay is just ridiculous

The prices I see for the book are not simply ridiculous, they are insane.

Best price I can find in the U.K. is on Abe Books from a store in Austin, Texas at £125. Presumably a quick conversion back from GBP will get you close to the $ price.

Still a mile from $29 but to be fair in GBP terms I wouldn't expect to get this at about £20 these days

I'd define the dollar equivalent of £125 as very steep but maybe just short of insane

Time for a re-print, I'd say if that was possible

I got mine off amazon used back in '06. Probably paid about $20 for it.

20$ is reasonable price. I don't understand why it went through the roof! price is really crazy

"I am also investigating the possibility of reprinting The Photographers Toning Book on this label - at a far more affordable price than it currently commands on the resale market!"
so there is the possability that it may reappear now that:-
"I decided to set up my own publishing label 'Opas Books'."

Sounds like good news for all.

I bought it on Amazon on last reprint, new. I think I paid close to $150. Sold it for little less about a year ago.

Amazon has an used one for $199.92 right now.

it was selling at upto $1000 between teh first and second edition so 150 is quite cheap

Now he's said he may reprint I guess the used market prices will plummet again.

My new-old stock purchase three or four years ago from Glazer's Cameras of one of books from the initial printing appears to be one of my best investment decisions ever.

It was about $30.00 USD IIRC.

No disrespect intended, but I believe the word you wanted is "relevant". And my answer is yes, absolutely, as is the toning book, and all other tomes produced by the esteemed author. No, I am not elevating him to god status, just an admirer of superlative photographic abilities, it raises the bar for all of us (plus he's willing to share his knowledge-albeit for a nominal fee).
