Just picked up a Zorki-3... way impressed with Diopter control and removable back!! I usually buy old range finders just for the sake of collecting them. But.. This little gem is going to get a nice work out!! I'm thinking about machining my Kodalux-L Light meter to fit on this one! I have 7 screw mount range finders but this one seems to have been done right!

Uh, that's weird. Exactly what I'm shooting... with a few exceptions.

• Instead of a Leica M6 TTL w/Neopan, it is a Nikon EL-2 with Tri-X.
• Instead of the tele-rolleiflex w/Delta 3200, it's an Mamiya RB-67 with HP5+.
• Instead of the Contax IIa w/ Optima 400, it's a Crown Graphic/Schneider 135mm Xenar and Tri-X.

The astute among you will see that furcafe and I are using exactly 3 (three) cameras and film in each one (1).

Have used a Blackbird Fly (blue) and a Canon old F-1 (n) w/ 55 f/1.2 S.S.C. so far this week (both using Delta 3200), and B&J Grover 8x10/540 Ektanon planned for the weekend with Ektachrome 100. May use the 5x7 back with that same lens and FP4.

Outing in New York City this weekend. I'll bring two RFs - M5 with 35/1.4 and 50/1.5, and Minolta CLE with CV 21/4 and 15/4.5. I hope the weather cooperates!

I just took possession of a Ricoh KR-10 35mm camera w/winder and a Kiron 28-85 zoom lens. This same camera system was used by myself...back in 1980 when I was carrying out arson photography. New batteries and everything works perfectly! Oh, with it came the old Vivitar 283 flash! All of this was "given" to me...as the fire department went over to digital. Their loss...my gain!

As soon as the weather clears up a bit I will be shooting 2 Kodak No. 1 Panorams (original models ca. 1900 loaded with Fuji PRO 160S and T-MAX 100) and 4 Kodak No. 2 Brownies (late models E & F ca. 1925 - 1933, loaded with Kodak TXP 320, Ilford XP-2, Fortepan 100, and Arista.edu 400).

When I am not waxing masochistic, I do a lot of pix with a Zeiss Super Ikonta, some Daiichi Zenobias, and a gaggle of Minolta SRT series cameras.

I still have some Fuji film in an Argus C3 from Christmas Day. Right now the temperature outdoors is around - 40F and the ice fog has settled in along with poor air quality warnings. Such is life in Fairbanks,Alaska. This old eskimo guy can handle about 10 to 20 minutes outdoors any more. I went out with the Leica M3 on 12/21 for the shortest day shots in warmer(!) temps but this stuff is going to take some thought. Maybe some ex-military that HAD to work in these conditions could add their two cents on this.

Steve , at -40F it's colder than the inside of my freezer stay in keep warm even film gets brittle at those temperatures, it's 28F here in the north of England which is still below zero, and cold enough for me to stay at home.

Steve, I am certainly in no position to gripe about the cold (about 32 degrees) here in Arkansas with you having to shoot in that Eskimo freezin' Alaska cold. So, I just loaded up 4 more No. 2 brownies, and am heading out to shoot local landscapes with 8 of them buggers. Smiff
