my lovely old rollei

Just shot half a roll of FP4 with my treasured 3.5f Rollei, shots of a sculptor working with willow reeds, making sculptures to "walk into", beautiful objects. Outdoors, bright, shooting in the shade, using the camera's meter (which actually works!!), around 250th at f4/5.6, for a narrow(ish) depth of field...
wish me luck in the darkroom....

I have a hankerin' to use my '54 Pacemaker Speed by hand today...not sure if I will...but I do have some 400NC already loaded, so it's a possibility.....

It has been quite a while since I used it by hand, aside from a few Polaroid demo shots a few months back.

Shown with a Polaroid 550 back in place, though I am using it now with a Linhof Super Rollex (56x72) rollfilm back in place. This is a prototype currently undergoing testing. I made all the brass and aluminum parts on a milling machine.

Ciao!

Comparing the results shooting Fuji Pro 160 S with my Minox 35 GT with a 35mm 2.8 Minotar lens, and my Canon EF with the 35mm f2 B/L lens.

There's always a roll of Rollei Retro in my Leica MP, and I'm lining up a grand day out with my 1932 Welta Compur Trio folding 6x9.

I'm not sure how old a camera has to be to be considered an antique, but this week I'm shooting Velvia 50 in my Canon FTbn my oldest SLR, they came out in 1971.

Nearly finished a roll in a Ricoh Singlex TLS and continuing busy with an EOS 350D (ouch!) sporting a Novoflex macro system with a very nice Xenar 3,5/105mm for a website 'under construction'.

Just processed a roll which put through a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 6x6 folder which I bought for £2 last weekend. Seems to be working o.k.

My problem with my Nettar is seeing the frame numbers through the red window, almost impossible with some makes of film.

Yes. With Ilford film I really have to look carfully and hold the red window up to the light. Luckily the backing paper seems to do its job very well.

The past 2 weeks with the 1936 Voightlander Bessa RF and 4(!) rolls of film. 2 rolls of Ilford Delta 100 and 2 rolls of Ilford Pan F 50. I finally got away from using anything faster and the results are a surprise. Put the camera on a tripod with a cable release and I draw a crowd every time. Take it to the antique auto club meet and downtown Fairbanks,Alaska where the tourists are.

Last week , a Super Ikonta C (6X9) , with Fomapan 100 : his Tessar (105mm 1:3,5) is a pure happiness for landscape !
But this camera is only usefull for that , it is so difficult to center...

Next sunday , a Rolleiflex 2,8 D with Fomapan 100 (or 400 if cloudy) , easier to use for feast .

Is this the Super Ikonta C with the Albada finder? If it is, this can be adjusted.

You are right "pure happiness for landscape !"

Weltaflex TLR - I am debating as to whether to load it up with HP5 or Delta 3200. Some of what I want to shoot will be inside an historic horse arena with some but not lots of light. I know 3200 could do it, but will the grain get to me? I don't know.

I am considering loading up one or both of these Voigtlaender folders I got for converting to pinhole cameras. I haven't converted them, yet. I don't even know if they work.
