There was almost tears

I cracked open my last package of AGFA MCC 111 FB 11x14 today. It's still my favourite paper.

Made a print of a neg I made about three weeks ago. I will be taking this print along to our Calgary Large Format Users Group Christmas party/dinner tomorrow night. It will go into the print exchange draw.

It was good stuff. There are many papers I miss. I guess we should feel lucky there anything left to print on. I really liked the MCC for portraits.

I used a lot of Agfa. I still have some Agfa, Forte and Kodak paper hid away. I need to use it.

Yes , the MCC 111 was my favourite paper but sadly the last packages I could find showed fogging tendensies. Storing it unexposed for a long time, at least in room temperature, was not one of the best things you could do.
Luckily the new ADOX MCC 110 comes in quite close to its predecessor. It has a slightly brighter emulsion, but contrast, tone and D-max seems to be allmost the same. If you develop in ADOX MCC-developer it comes even a litle bit further.

Whats the difference between the stuff from AGFA and the stuff that Adox produce then?
They seem to reuse a lot of the AGFA annotations at least.

I use Adox-paper and find it to be very good.

Agfa MCC 111 was my preference as well. It was a gut wrench when I opened the last package of it a couple of years back, so I sympathise with the OP.

Absolutely agree with Karl-Gustaff about the Adox MCC 110, it is a beautiful paper and works well also in Adox Neutol Neutral or Warm.

The Adox MCC 112, semi-matte is great as well with certain negatives.

I loved Agfa paper and I find the current ADOX offering very good, they should be quite similar clones (somewhere I read they are produced on the same equipment, but I could recall wrongly)
