It happened me a while ago-I got a "new" film back for my Rollei 6008. As it turned out, the film leading/retaining springs above the pressure plate were not doing their job. Fortunately, with just a bit of "wrestling" with them solved the issue (at least for now). I posted the whole story on my blog, if anyone is interested in:

I just wonder if the same problem happened to others too?

well, it could be also due to a combination of (two) factors: not only the film springs, but also the way you push the film pressure plate (after film loading) and before your first trigger (when the film winds up to its first frame)

yes, Rollei backs are one of a kind, you don't need the dark slide, you just push the lever-then, the curtain retracts, and the film plate goes forward (hopefully:blink:) to the focal plane. So, it might be also that the pressure plate wasn't exactly at the preset position, so the springs/clips didn't work for that reason, too, who knows
actually, I am not rich enough to test again with say, some 4-5 films:smile: I would be a waste of film:D
