OK, folks. By now you probably know what this is about, but in case you don't, here's the scoop, as written by the show manager. The auction has quite a lot of rather nice goodies this spring, including an Aero Ektar in a Hasselblad mount which will be sold separately from the 1000f set up (pictured below) it used to grace, and a Bausch and Lomb Rapid Universal lens for 16 x 18 (also below). A list of the other things in the auction is here, but it will get longer as we get more stuff ready for the date.

If you print out the APUG logo and bring it with you, give it to people at the admission table and tell them that Whitey sent you. Get in free.

Question, if I see something I am interested and cannot fly out to the auction, is there any method to buy something?

Sorry! I didn't see this until this morning. Check your messages for a phone number to call me. Remember the time difference for the bid.

Just back from selling lenses and cameras, individually and by the box load, and giving them away to students. The show was more evenly attended this year, despite weather that made coming into a dusty old armory rather less inviting than staying outside. The auction brought very high prices, even though the dealers all had pretty low prices on things at their tables. The highlight? Two last minute additions to the auction, an Aero-Ektar in a Hassleblad mount (auction price–$340) and a Dallmeyer 5D portrait lens, patent date 1867, in really clean condition (auction price $1300). Lots of good stuff. Thanks to all who came and especially to bdial Carl and papagene, who helped out a LOT.
