Sean,

Since last Sunday, I am experiencing inconsistent behavior with the "Mark All Read" button in the upper left of the nav bar. Sometimes it clears everything, but most often not. Has anyone else remarked about this? The forum-specific button seems to work consistently. I noticed this because threads I'd read previously with no new posts were still showing up highlighted as if there were new posts. The dates of last post went back to Sunday March 13th. when I knew I'd cleared those since then. Thanks.
It does seem to be having issues, will look into it thanks!

I've been having this same problem too. If in the "Forums" view, it will clear everything. However, if I'm in a thread like this one, it won't. I just tried it. It's still not working properly.

I see it now, should be fixed in a couple of hours, thanks

It's possible this is what I was experiencing. After some experimenting yesterday I discovered this same thing, so perhaps it's working, just not like we expect.

Should be able to fix this today or early tomorrow.

While viewing an image in the gallery and I press the "next" arrow, I don't always get the next image in the gallery. Sometimes it skips over one or more images and sometimes its an adventure which image will appear. I'm viewing the gallery on my iPad.

I am not sure this is on every thumbnail that appears in the latest gallery shot on the side of the posts but on the latest( picture of a bridge) the thumbnail is very fuzzy. That fuzziness disappears once it is clicked which takes you to the gallery shot itself.

The fuzziness isn't always so apparent as on the bridge picture but I am sure it is always there.

It would be nice if this could be eliminated

Do you have the stacked thumbnails or seperate thumbnails selected for your display? Thanks

The gallery home page shows recent images from all galleries. It might be that if you open a recent "Standard Gallery" image and click next it shows what is in that gallery, not necessarily what might be in the recent images page. I'll have a closer look.

Hi Sean,

I am still seeing this behavior.

Since giving this some more thought here is what I think I remember. Prior to the issue, anytime i clicked on "Mark all read" I received a popup that offered the choice of; 1) Mark this forum read, or 2) Mark all forums read. Choosing "Mark all forums read" in this popup successfully marked all of the forums as "read". This popup no longer appears and perhaps that is the key to the problem. Just a guess on my part but it is the only thing that is different as far as I recall.

Silly question - where do I find the place to ignore forums like Soap Box or Classifieds -?

Not silly at all.

Go into the forum you want to ignore, and you will see a list of threads.

At the top right of the list, you will see "Ignore Forum"

Click there.

You have lost me a little here. I see one thumbnail( the latest gallery shot) on the side of the forum page and when I click on it I am taken to it by itself. Is this stacking?

I had assumed that separate thumbnails was a given structure on APUG Will the non stacking option cure the fuzziness

Thanks

The sidebar gives a couple options for gallery image display. You can have one thumbnail only that let's you cycle through recent images (stacked), or you can deselect the stacking option and end up with individual thumbnails:

stacked:

individual:

The stacked thumbnails can often be larger and not quite right for vertical images (we're working on a fix). The individual option can be slightly better quality. In general the thumbnails are not that great, also looking into that as well.

Hi Dan, on your main conversations list:

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

To the left of the title you should see a check box, select each conversation and you'll be presented with options:

"Leave Conversation" will remove it. I can supply a screenshot if needed. Thanks

Hi Sean,

Any word on getting a limit set up for gallery uploads? The past few days have seen several different people uploading way more than five images a day.

Thanks for the help. I'd looked for the more obvious (to me) delete, had no idea that leave was a synonym.

Hi Sean,

I've got the gallery rules showing now and the rule about max uploads. I'll also be putting in a limit in the software soon.

As for new updates over all, the current site is on 1.5.5 so i've got our dev server now on the latest 1.5.6 also have had our style framework updated. That should be going in over the next day or so, then more site wide fixes can be rolled out.
