Is thumbnail (un) sharpness configurable in the left navigation panel? It's fine being fuzzy until you enter gallery but since some people's style is unsharp and others is sharp, I think it would be better "for us" to have the thumbnails be sharp, so we'd know what we are about to see.

Funny you should ask, I am currently in talks with xenforo about these thumbnail issues. There are a few involved now and I am hoping to be able to significantly boost thumbnail quality today (and rebuild existing thumbnails).

I don't see anything wrong (just did some testing). Have you checked your spam box? Also, so email systems let you create a "white list" and you could ensure all mail from apug.org domain is allowed. Let me know how it goes. Thanks

Before you changed the forum software all worked flawlessly. Since then i did not change my email address. The spam box is empty. I just tried the "two step verification" (control panel) via email confirmation, but i didn't get any email from the system. I waited for half an hour...

Hi, sorry you are having issues. It appears your host https://www.schlundtech.de is a bit aggressive and blocking some of your email rather than sending it to your spam box. I would contact them and ask them to add apug.org as a legit email address. I haven't come across others having this issue lately.

Returned from their mail server: "Mail appeared to be SPAM or forged. Ask your Mail/DNS-Administrator to correct."

Feel free to have their techs contact me apug.org@gmail.com if needed. Thanks

Just curious, has there been any attempt to fix the two issues I have asked for help with?

1. Appearance of items from blocked forums showing up on the home page sidebar.
2. Inability to delete my photos from groups I am a member of.

@Bill Burk good news on the thumbnail front. I've been working directly with xenForo and they have implemented a new thumbnail system for the next release of the gallery system. I've seen some tests and the new thumbnails are crisp This update should be released soon.

The software says I need to be a subscriber to read the "nicest lens" thread,

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

posted in the Miscellaneous Equipment forum. Yet, after closing the pop-up I can read the forum and post to it.

I intend to become a subscriber, but I'll have to mail an actual check, since I never do online financial transactions.

This is due to someone embedding a gallery image to the thread and triggering a block since the gallery is subscriber based. I'm actually hoping to fix this tomorrow after we put in some update patches.

1. should be fixed this weekend
2. is a larger issue, the maker of the social groups software says a big update is coming soon. until then feel free to link me to images you want to delete

Mails are automatically forwarded to my gmail account and there it is now classified as spam, but that's not a real problem.

The good news: yes, it works now (at least the verification mail from the forum system...)!
