Thanks Sean!
Congratulations.
May I ask if the sections with the latest threads and classifieds are going to be back on the Home page.
I miss them as they give an overview of latest threads.
Thanks! New forum looks more readable.

I haven't read through this whole thread yet, but if you click "Forum" it takes you to the list of forums. In the header there's a "Today's Posts" link that basically does the same thing as the latest threads on the home page. It'll work until Sean comes up with a solution.

I miss having the newest threads on the home page too, but I'm sure it or a similar feature will appear in due time.

Above at the right (typically marked in red) there is the button for newest posts.
(Though not the same as "newest thread", but "Todays Posts" does not mean newest threads either.)

The current display for "Latest Gallery Photo" makes it look like the two giraffes have strange hoods - i.e. the "next photo" arrows are really in the way.

Yeah, I preferred the old version (!) where I could have several photos displayed at once in the sidebar. If I have to bother to scroll I may as well just go over to the gallery itself. That said, if it automatically moved through the images as a slideshow, that would be kind of cool.

We'll code up an option to stack them in one image or show all images.. We can pretty much do anything we want with this system.

how does one put the vital statistics (location &c )
without uploading, and then editing .. i am sure its there, im just not seeing it !

I think the workflow of the system is to upload file, then add details to it. I doubt there is a way around that.. So upload, add details then submit (as far as I can see).

Currently using the sites mobile Version. For the most part it Looks and works very well.
the only thing I have found is that the classified section is not showing in the main index page. I see all the other ones though.

The menu likely condensed, so have a look at the far right of the menu for a 'hamburger' symbol. It should contain the rest.

Still a lot of work to do, probably 4-6 weeks of refining things. I think it's off to a good start, considering our lack of manpower to pull this off. As far as the backend admin, moderator, spam tools and more goes, it's a dream to manage this system.

Applause for all the hard work! I hope you will consider tapatalk in the future, I will rarely visit the site without it. The way it renders on my iphone requires that I pinch zoom every screen.

Also I dont see a "New Posts" button which I use on the desktop. This was a very often pressed button for me.

Thanx for the great work. It looks good. Most of the comments I have are "little things," so I'll just wait and see how it pans out - they may already be on the to-do list.

DPUG is still on the older system.. I will look into a proper mobile solution today. Sadly Tapatalk from what I gather were accessing customer data they should not have been, so we need to find a solution in house.

@Truzi We have at least 4-6 weeks of refining ahead of us

Is this the place to post feedback?
Desktop, site is MUCH easier to read, looks great!

AS I am going through I am seeing little things. There doesn't appear to be a tiny button to go to first unread post on main page.

Do you want us to tell you stuff like that?

EDIT: [New] seems to be a big tabbed thing inside the Today's posts link, that will work! Its got a couple of other table that I am not sure I understand but anyway, New posts off my list of requests.

We're making this an option right now stay tuned
From #57 - the first post synopsis was being turned into an option. How do we change which way it is? 'Cause it doesn't seem to be doing it for me now and I liked it.
