Excitement building.... H35 to be delivered today... Will compare it to my Leica M3 Dual Stroke. Because with a Dual Stroke M, if you only wind it once it becomes a half frame camera, right? Those Leica engineers are so clever! A half frame and full frame camera in one.
So if you only use one stroke on the Pen F it becomes a quarter frame?
@xkaes you mention you own the superheadz. Can you post pics taken with it so we can compare to the pics I'm going to post taken w the H35?
There are plenty of pictures taken with the various SUPERHEADZ half-frame cameras from various photographers with various subjects -- on-line.
After seeing some images and reviews of this camera I think I will hold off on this one.
Not quite, but wouldn't that be nice? After each exposure with the Pen F, the "film-advance" lever was used twice -- once to advance the film and again to cock the shutter.
If you want quarter-frame pictures on 35mm film, get a Nickelodeon PHOTOBLASTER

1/4 frame is for chumps. l use 1/8th frame cameras.
You using a cine camera for stills?
No. This camera takes 8 pics on one piece of 35mm film. Been printing and selling 20x30 pieces from it.
Here are three of them at the gallery.
Someone is going to steal that, careful.
http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Fuji_Rensha_Cardia Check this out, 16 lenses.
And let's not leave out the Topico Magic-9, the Oktomat, the Fuji Quicksnap Golf, the Action Spot 16. The list goes on.
Some of these take the pictures in rapid sequence with one press of the shutter release, while others take ONE picture when the release is pressed.
Check out the pics in this review. They look great.

Kodak Ektar H35 Half Frame Camera Review: Out-Of-The-Box Fun
Economical in more than one way.petapixel.com
I think the last line in the article sums it up.
Should You Buy It?
Yes. Outside of a lackluster viewfinder, the Kodak Ektar H35 offers a quick, fun experience right out of the box.
Has anyone pre-ordered one of these new cameras being marketed by Kodak?
I like the retro 126 looks of the front of the camera and the price appears very good US$49.99 / €47.50 / £40.50
