Put it this way, I say tyre instead of tire and litre instead of literIt happens to all of us at times.Although… I seem to recall a British member stating that they are immune to such issues.
Ironically, Ilford colour film is perfect!Yes… returning to normal programming….
I’ve not seen such problems with 2-year old FP4+ or brand new PanF.
And never had a problem with any Ilford colour film.
Thank you - I'll correct the title and first post.Affects
Affected
I've used many if the films that have been affected, but never experienced the issue. Knock on wood.
I’m a magnet for wrapper offset and other 120 issues.
I’ve had a bad roll of FP4 (snow). I’ve had bad rolls of Tri-X (“KODAK” all over my negatives). I’ve had bad Foma 100, 200, and 400 (snow, scratches). HP-5, though? Never. (Fingers crossed). I see LF at some point in my future.
You'll be the only one who gets a light-leak in the bellows.
Mark Overton
OK, thanks for that.Sorry to say, Delta 100 is not immune either. I had a roll with the dreaded markings on it, which was replaced by Ilford.
Note, this was in 2020, but was unexpired film at that time.
There's been no problem with the replacement film.
Looks like age and storage seem to most certainly accentuate the issue. This is good information.
Put it this way, I say tyre instead of tire and litre instead of liter.
Anyhow, back to normal programming
