I am busy on all fields of photography and I just can't remember all codings. You fellows from the USA and Canada are not willing to understand that there is a world outside where Kodak did not have such standing.
Of course there is D-76 as developer of reference known, but there is so much american not even known as concept here.

I don’t think there is an un-willingness, Kodak was such a powerhouse here, they eclipsed anything from anywhere else.

AgX should be thankful for the new enlightenment… better late than never.

But even as an American, it took me several repeated looks at the thread. I think I got it at about post 6.

We're not willing to understand?? Is that fact, or did you just make it up? I lived in Japan for many years and that was the brand that was pushed. I never really heard of or used Kodak, until I got seriously into photography... and I was mainly using Ilford films anyways...and Rollei...and Acros.

This is my general impression at Apug, as having been told how things are to be handled, what processes and what products there are etc.

Probably because most members here are American... If the majority were European, it would be mainly your take on things, no? Anyways, I didn't start this thread to argue... Have a nice weekend!

Hell no...
Some of us are too old and 'too well set' on our ways (and beliefs) and have no more 'brain room' for anything 'new'
