I hope someone can relate to this.
I just received my Epson V850. Set up went well and scanning seems to work fine using Epson which will do for now.
The V850 use the new negative tray with the ANR glass. The glass isn’t the issue it’s getting the strip under, and to stay under those nasty guide tracks! (FIlm lock bevels)
The image (attached) shows the 120 strip UNDER the guides but their directions state:
“Place the film on top of the film lock bevels. Forcing the film beneath the beveled edges will damage the film.”
So my questions are… Do you have the same issues as me getting the 120 strip UNDER the “bevels”? And is the strip indeed supposed to go under the beveled edges and their instructions are wrong.
I intend to wet mount the ones I intend to print but want to scan all of them.
Thank you!
