They could have. Last year they could have. I am not sure if that gear is being scrapped right now, I guess so. Perhaps if they hurry, the insolvency adminstrator would be glad to sell it rather than make money from scrap metal.

But these machines can probably not be relocated economically. Too big. Agfa Photo's coating machines are located Leverkusen (near Cologne), in the world's biggest chemical plant. I'm sure there are a number of skilled but unemployed workers also, who would be glad to work for Ilford or anybody else in Leverkusen. Making color film is rocket science.
