You can always order direct if we are allowed to do a clean export. This is currently the case for orders larger than 170 EUR due to the 130 UKP rule. Apart from this we have more than 8 distributors in the UK which will eventually stock up again.

So presumably just a temporary lack of supply in U.K shops , not permanent ?

This is incorrect. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the times given by Tetenal are a mistake or printing error.

I have to disagree, the Paranol-S times seem pretty accurate to me - I'd describe it as a Rodinal-alike, not substitute. I think the confusion is not helped by the decision to try and comply with Rodinal dilutions, even though the times differ. I suspect that it may well be assembled in a different way to the rather specific protocol that Rodinal apparently uses.

I have another contacted another photographer who was using Rodinal exclusively for all of his films and his suggestion was to calculate the % increase between Rodinal and Paranol and apply it to my Rodinal timings which seems logical.

Thank you so much, I have checked them previously and they didn't have any stock, hence it says new. i've ordered some XT3 as well

Well with great excitement I have ordered yesterday night but a call today saying the item is on backorder
On another note, does anybody knows what the minimum required developer per film for Paranol is? The manual says for max 25 films, so it does mean 10ml per film but also the manual says 20ml is required per liter of solution at 1+50 and one can develop 3 films in 1litre working solution.

10ml is on the safe side, 5ml may be fine depending on the film and exposure (no snow scenes).

so I bought a bottle of paranol -s and I don't know what times to use if the ones recommended by tetenal in its data sheet or those of the rodinal

It's not a direct rodinol clone. It does not have the shelf life of rodinol for instance. I'm sure chemists will be able to explain exactly how it differs.

I've never had a problem with their data sheet. Some of the times seem wtf but all the times I used it I just used data sheet no problem.

Tetenal are top quality company so trust the process!

I just did a quick search and all I could find was one U.K. stockist of Rodinal R09. I am not sure if this is the ADOX Rodinal or not but unless Mirko is using stockists that I have no knowledge of, it would seem that "original" Rodinal may be almost or is non existent in the U.K. as things stand

The OP's paranol-s is certainly now available at AgPhotographic in Birmingham where the Fatih lives or lived. I said lived because he hasn't visited us since July of last year. However it would appear that in terms of Rodinal of which he was complaining about in terms of it not being shipped to the U.K. he is still out of luck
