Yes. I agree completely. if you have only one shot at that moose and you've got a hand-loaded round that may or may not give you the same ballistic signature as the rest of your hand-loads, you may or may not get your moose. If hunting for sport, bad for you. If hunting for survival, bad for you and those who depend on your results.
