Tape recommendation for labeling bulk rolls.

I think thone Sensai are single use. I have been using AP cassettes. i use the receiver lead cutter and the refxlab end cutter. It helps a lot with rolling film!

Flic Film makes an opener for the cassettes (Sensai) I broke the first opener, Flic Film offered zero help, the seller Photo Warehouse sent me a replacement no troubles, that was nice. So you have a cutter that trims the film to fit into the plastic spool??? How's that work? Fiddling with this is a waste of time and money but it's fun.

Beware of using Sharpie markers on certain tapes, ie, blue painter taped, as the permanent, no fading ink can disappear.

That spool-end trimmer looks great, but what spools or cassettes have two prongs? I only have about a third what you have (60) but all the spools are either solid or have a single prong.

Gets locked perfectly in AP cassetes…

Salvaged Fujifilm roll cores too.

Edit: I should qualify that. I'm unsure if the Ilford-produced Neopan or USA-made Fuji 200 and 400 have the two-pronged core. Just Japan-produced I believe.

Probably not what you want, but I just use a sharpie on the tongue of film. I make sure I don’t rewind the tongue into the cassette so I know what it is when done.

I also mark the tongue, however I use the plastic film canisters films would come in, with strong removable tape and black Sharpie, broad, regular tip.

I have an Excel file with all info on films i shoot by number. Also when I take a canister I bend the leader small in the beginning once for shot, 2 for 1 stop,3 for 2 stops and 4 for 3 stops

I'll bend the tongue at the top, with 135 canisters to denote a shot roll, when putting it into place in the camera.

I use to clip the top of the film tongue but bending is simpler, if not as fast as a cutting.
