Hi everyone!

I've been using digital and my foray into photography has always been digital (Pentax). However, over the last few months I've been thinking a lot about my style. At first this led me to think Canon FF DSLR... but then due to circumstances, I ended up looking into making FILM my look

Listening to Inside Analog Photography Podcast didn't help either

I like to shoot weddings/events/portraits/street and just general people photography. I love shooting documentary style more so than doing posed formals.

I usually shot film as a side thing, but now it's becoming more of my thing.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi!!

Hello and welcome to APUG!

Welcome, from the other side of the Massey tunnel.

You will enjoy it here!

Welcome to APUG and escaping to the dark side!

Oh wow. Thanks everyone for your very welcoming ... uh... welcomes!!

I still like the digital for some work - strobist, waterproof (Pentax K-7) usability and digital video and quick snap shots that I need to upload, but otherwise I love using film.

And I think I just found my thing: Kodak PORTRA!

Welcome to the forum from someone who's about 2 hours SSE of ya.

I'd love to meet up with fellow film photog-ers in the area. We're quite a rare breed these days.
