I just heard from my dealer, Dodd Camera in Cleveland and it appears that Kodak has reduced their minimum orders of the 10L packaging. While not as convenient as the 5L kit, this is a decent solution. Dodd's is ordering a set of these. If you are in the Cleveland OH area and interested, I would give them a call and make sure their order covers what you might need.

I've talked with these folks in the past and they were quite nice. Here's a link to trebla's E-6 line if someone wants to find out more. Large quantities.

Purchasing the smaller bottle quantites, like the 6x5L and such as a kit is the best for low volume run as the chemistry should last longer than cubes, it less chemistry though than buying in cube quanity and doesn't really save that much money - none at all if you look at developing capacity alone.

But getting chemistry this way is Expensive, i had it quoted as about $600 shipped.

Is this $600.00 for everything required? All six steps?

Or would I need something else?

No. $600 for everything. Although I would order their c41 fixer that does e6. And c41.

This is interesting. We can get everything shipped from one vendor? Expensive, but possible?

Is all the C41 stuff available, too?

And I suppose the real question would be about shelf life. since it is such large quantities, can one person get it used before it goes bad shooting a \"reasonable\" amount of film?

I paid about $75 for the 6 part Tetenal E-6 kit from Webb Camera. Someone should give him a call. Obviously he knows how to get that product in the US cheaply. Good luck.

What was the final volume for the solutions?
Capacity is subjective so how much working solution did this kit make?

The 6 step E-6 Tetenal kit is a 5L kit. Same as Kodak. I always use it to the maximum capacity that Kodak indicated on their own kit (500ml to dev 4 rolls of 120). Never had a problem, even as the kit ages.

I got it here:

The web site isn't all that robust, but if they have the chemicals and will ship them who cares.

The email address appears to be info@webbcam.net

I just sent them a request, but I doubt they'll respond today. It's out of the posted store hours.

I hope they have stock and will ship.

I spoke to a couple distributors, the Tetenal stuff seems to be totally gone. If I hear of any becoming available I will certainly snap it up and let you guys know. I do sell Trebla chemistry but I don't stock it, it you let me know part #'s of what you would need I can get you pricing and availability. Thanks again!

for the hell of it I just called them and as others said, the guy said they no longer have any

EDIT: sorry to dig up an old thread but I just shot 12 rolls of E-6 and I really don't want to use the 3 bath kits out there and since I've only used the 3 bath I don't really know where to start on the 6 baths, all the experienced guys have a system and understand what's needed to replace it all or where to get it, but since I have no experience and little money I don't want to buy the wrong stuff, I'd prefer a kit to start me out before i just go all Ad Hoc on my 12 rolls of E-6 Grand Canyon shots...
