to place tempering baths on while developing E6. They come in various sizes, and would be handy to keep paper trays warm, seems to me.

I've seen those, and they are good for small adjustments, say if you're at 60 degree room temperature and want to heat it to 70. But I also hear that they are not good if you have to heat up chemistry a lot. So it works for some situations, and not for others.
A friend of mine is using electrically heated stainless steel food trays, which put out a little bit more heat. Great for lith. When I have the funds I'm going to try one of those.
