Luckily we can enjoy it as a stable niche market. Its was fun seeing the guy hustling through the throng of regular photographers with that big grin on his face winding his film.Ok, but isn't that down from over a hundred thousand? I wouldn't be that surprised nor would many people on this site if hundreds of pros still shoot film, considering that there are roughly 150,000 pro photographers in the US. That's a drop in the bucket compared to what it was.

A few years ago the new owners of Hasselblad did a poll hoping to push digital cameras and backs. The poll showed that most professional photographers at that time preferred film for their personal use. Hasselblad went looking for a different way to ask questions on their polls.
