I wonder if y'all noticed David's pretty nice contribution about large format photography over at Mike Johnston's blog:

http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2007/12/large-format-re.html

Johnston's audience is a pretty interesting one, diverse, and across a large spectrum of opinions when it comes to film/digital.

What I take note of, is that the little things David explained, most of which are already widely known in places like APUG, are in fact relevant news on MJ's blog.

Way to go!

Thanks, Michel. I posted it as a reply to another post, and Mike asked if he could make it a new main post.

Good work David! It seems you turned a few heads with that thread.

Very nice, David!

Interesting article, David. The demo is remarkable, btw. It's also nice to see something like this that clearly isn't written to challenge, but rather to explain in an informative way. Way to go!

Well done David.

Well, interesting people seem to read and comment on Mike Johnston's blog, so quality is better than quantity, I think. I also talk about film and LF things on the rangefinder forum and the Open Photography Forums.

I also try to infuse good information on RFF. It's such a gear-oriented place, I'm always surprised when I see someone asking questions about developers instead of favourite f-stops or sharpest summicron.
