Source of Ammonia solution NH3 from Mike Wares Simple Cyanotype

Hi all,

I'd like to give the Mike Ware Simple Cyanotype solution a go. I am struggling finding a source of Ammonia solution NH3 aka ammonium hydroxide NH4OH.

Does anyone know of a reliable source to purchase this in the UK?

In the past this was a standard item here at each drugstore, but it vanished. Howewer I can still buy it at big DIY stores. At local pharmacies too. German internet shows many sellers.
Concentrations vary from 9-25%.

Household clear ammonia (in the cleaning section at the supermarket, at least in USA) is a 3% solution of ammonium hydroxide and nothing else. Cloudy ammonia includes detergents or soap; you don't want that. In the USA, I depend on Parson's brand, but I doubt it's distributed or licensed internationally.

Ammonium bicarbonate or ammonium carbonate (also known as baker's ammonia available in grocery stores) would be a good substitute.

Mike Ware also has the "Mike's cyanotype" which uses ammonium citrate instead of citric + ammonia.

If a local hardware store doesn't have it, try ebay uk, there's not much you can't buy on there!
