Asahi Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar S-M-C 50mm f/1.4 Fast Portrait M42 Lens

Glass is good with a few pin-tip type marks on the front coating which do not affect images.

Minor internal dust as normal for this era of lens (or any lens, really). Does not affect images.

Cosmetics are good with minor signs of wear/usage.

Fully functional, only issue is small ding in the filter ring so it does not accept filters as normal.

Focus is smooth, aperture is smooth to adjust and clicks normally through stops.

Aperture blades are dry and free of oil or defect.

Aperture AUTO/MAN switch works as intended, no issues.

This is the last version of the lens before they went to the cheaper feeling rubber focusing ring and yet has the superior 8-bladed aperture, making this the best of both worlds. You can use this on a Spotmatic SP-F or SP II and get open aperture metering.
