My old ektagraphic just broke again. I've bought 2 different projectors on ebay that looked well cared for and claimed to work but both did not. Where can a guy get a good, known to be working, projector these days? They aren't so much in the thrift stores anymore and the ones on ebay are sold by people that never test them. I'm tired of the crap shoots and wasted time. Is there a place that still sells these things refurbished, used, whatever so long as they work properly?

I don't know I bought 2 Ektagraphic's and they are perfectly fine. I bought a Carrousel 4600 for $5 at estate sales which is like new to me.
I go to estate sales almost every weedend and still seeing them but don't buy any more because I have enough of the Ektagrahic and Carrousel. Unless I run into an Ektapro .

Yes, no estate sales due to no car and just not into taking the time to travel and scavenge. I'm ooking for something I can get shipped to me without "surprises." Some kind of AV equpiment supply house. All the old places are gone. The last time I looked for one it was 15 or 20 years ago and there were still plenty of supply of cheap, working projectors. These days, it's a crap shoot so far.
