Ive seen some magazines printed with an ink that is metallic. Is there any way to get a metallic look with regular prints?
A local lab uses what they call 'metallic' paper. I don't know if that has anything to do with the look you're after, but knowing if has that description may help refine your search.
I think it's used in a chemical process, as someone who prints giclees only was disappointed at a workshop that she couldn't use it.
If someone else doesn't answer help with more specific info I can ask them (I might need a PM to remind me, however).
