Mine are the three in the middle
I'd like to know more about those images/prints/whatever.
Mine are the three in the middle
A quick tour with the iPhone ...
At home, one wall of the dining room (which is open to the living room), followed by a hallway which is too narrow to be ideal, but it's what we have. A couple of details from the hallway, followed by a shot of the attic stairway wall which has an array of mostly 5"x5" prints in 8x10 frames. Hanging is using stuff from AS Hanging Systems.
I have had two solo exhibits in local places, a non-profit music school and a country club. (Even sold a few at the music school!)

I'm pretty embarrassed about the crappy photo of the print I posted to start this thread. Here's one that's a bit better...

Any chance you have a closer picture of this? I’d love to see more picture and less surrounding it.
You could have told me that you clipped this out of a Lee Friedlander book, framed it and hung it, and I would have believed you. Lovely work.
That guy’s fingerprints are all over much of my stuff as well.Thanks. I love Friedlander and I guess his use of poles as a compositional device seeped into my brain.

Thanks for the extra picture and link. Would you be interested in selling this? If so, please send me a DM. And no pressure! My show dealt with circles, mostly concentric ones, and this was one of the pieces:
Real Reels, 2022, silver gelatin photographs, 22-3/4" x 22-3/4". Framed.

I've had the good fortune of meeting him and Maria twice. I took a shot during our second meeting and brought my copy of Family (not Family In The Picture, but the 2004 Fraenkel publication simply titled Family). Maria was kind enough to autograph her essay for me and he autographed the book as well. I've gone back to her essay many times over the years. He's amazing. I was just looking through some of his books today. He can do it all - street, landscapes, portraits, still life, nudes, etc. A true master of the medium.

Ha! We probably rubbed elbows.I met him briefly at the opening of the 'Signs' exhibition at Fraenkel Gallery a few years ago and he signed my book. I was fortunate to get my book signed before he had to cut the signing short due to arthritis pain.
'Family' is one of the few Friedlander books I don't have. It's a bit pricey but I might buy a copy for myself anyway![]()

The one above the toilet smacks of Edward Weston and I love it.
