It's also poor in comparison with the raw resolution you get from a typical 35mm sensor these days.
Not saying your photos are poor or anything, but let's not make film out of something it isn't, and/or forget that digital is capable of amazing stuff.

I'll let you have this last word on the film vs. digital debate we're not going to pursue any further

Actually, it's the other way around.

Not based on facts.

I'm not pursing this further.

This is what we call not rising to the bait, biting one's tongue, being the bigger man, acting mature, facing reality.

Tell me, though, what is your opinion on the impending end of days?????

Please, not here and not now. The Soapbox is gone and that should only be a Soapbox discussion. How about moving it to "chat"?

We are already there! Repent! Shoot your Ektar 25 and last rolls of HIE! Bust out the Panatomic!

The oceans are melting and the ice is rising! We'll roast and freeze! But make sure to document it.

The sun came out today

As long as I have time to use some more of my small stash of 4x5 and 8x10 Kodak Pro Copy Film. Saw my heart doc this morning. She gave me another appointment for August, so I assume she thinks I'm good until then. I never had a great sense of rhythm, so it makes sense my heart doesn't either. Still doing damn good.

We are getting a break in the rain (some tomorrow, then a longer break). Clear skies meant I had to get ice off the car windows this morning. Kayak morning planned for Saturday -- riding the King Tide up a slough (Humboldt Bay), some lunch, then ride the tide back out again...about a 5 mile round trip paddle...a nice kind of movement. On the water by 9:30am, rain or shine -- celebrating a friend's 70th birthday with friends.

Heading up the slough -- good to wear a hat with a wide brim...

Oh, I think I have one roll (in a box, even) of Panatomic X. I was waiting for it to reach a sold-item value of $900 on ebay before egregiously using it in a Time magazine camera.

Make sure to leave it in car over the summer too.

A new movement? Yale MFA in photography and Gregory Crewdson.
