Verily, thy words shall return to smite and to haunt thee for all eternity, and thou shalt cry "Woe is me", when (not if) the Great Gods decree that thine own favorite film shall be no longer created.
And thou too mayst then find thyself cast out with many such sufferers from the tribes of Analogue to dwell in the dark lands of Digital forever.

And not just him. Freestyle did a special order of 11x14" Tri-X not long ago, and presumably others who don't organize group offers on the internet have done special orders.
Just for the record: Mary Jane Hellyar was the person I was thinking of.As I recall, Audrey Jonckheer retired last year, right about the time Kodachrome was discontinued.
They process to black and white.
Yeah? Where does it say that? For process22 you're right, it says to B&W, bummer.
At 'oldfilmprocessing' it says color or B&W. For forty quid I would have expected color. Sent them an email.
35mm Slide Film (Colour or B/W) Processing & Mounting
NON E6 Process only.
35mm Slide Film Process (Develop) & Mount
KodakChrome and other Old Slide Films
NON E6 Processes
Oldfilmprocessing state:
Yes, that is very misleading. One could read it as processing films intended as colour slides to whatsoever, or as processing them to colour slides.
I, without knowing the Kodachrome situation, would have read it the latter way.
Since the films are old, images may be deteriorated and skill is applied in processing in order to get the best results possible. I some cases where the colour layer of the film is not good we print it in Black & White.
