As far as I know only the reverse is true - but I am not 100% sure, sorry!

Will this work? Does the leaf shutter in the rz lens have a manual mode?

According to the RZ67 ProIID brochure, the RZ lens shutters are are electronically controlled and can, in emergency, use the 1/400 speed mechanically. They don't seem to have a shutter speed ring at all. The K/L lenses seem to be the newest generation of mechanical-shutter lenses that work on the RB67 cameras.

To focus at infinity with an RB lens on a RZ you have to move it forward 13mm (if I remember correctly)

This means that the reverse would be true if you used an RZ lens on an RB body... to get focus at infinity you would have to shove yer RX lens into the RB body by the same amount ... cant be done

RZ lenses can be fired at ~1/400 by pushing in a little pin on the back face whilst also turning the cocking pins ... Its a good idea if they are going to be stored for long periods to do this - the RB doesn't have the mechanics to do this for you tho (if you were hoping to do some macro)

actually, thinking about it - maybe it does, in fact I'd say it may well ...

but only at the ~1/400 speed

Have to try it out sometime but I dont have an RB body
