RZ67 AE finders

Does anyone know what's going one with RZ67 AE finders. Seems 80% of the used ones I have looked at have some weird delamination going on in each corner.

I know that when shopping for Mamiya 645 finders, it's common to find them where a mirror has come loose or shifted.

I have a newer-style RB finder (not AE) which I'm pretty sure is the same finder for the RZ - it doesn't have any issues and I've had it forever. Probably luck or careful handling comes into play.
