Thanks, Suzanne, I went back and changed images based on your print--wanted to send something that counter-balanced your fluid image with something geometric and rigid. Yours is fantastic and I'm just saving money before buying more mats so I can get it up on the wall.

99 % of my black and white work is done with infrared film. I fell in love with it about 12 to 15 years ago . Up here around my area I am known for my infrared photography.
I am glad you liked the photo. That photography won me a silver ribbon last year. Have you had a chance to check out my website. I will be updating it soon with some new colour work as well as with some new black and white images .

Cheers Pats

No problem Gene. Anytime you are ready is fine... I am waiting with growing anticipation however because today Nige's "High Country Gum Tree" arrived well and good in the mail. It is both skillfully composed and expertly toned: in short, something to aspire to. Thanks Nige.
Best regards,
James
I also have received the prints from both James (blackmelas) and Nige. Superb work both! Thanks! No worries Gene.

I just received Barrie B's beautiful waterfall. (second print I received with a mat, no less... feeling like a slug that I've just sent the prints with no finish work!) It arrived safely, and it's gorgeous. Thank you very much. Another awesome print exchange! Thanks to the whole group... Barrie, Jeremy, and Chritian!!! :D

my prints for my group will be posted tomorrow. sorry for the delay. I was planning on doing the mats myself, and eventually did do them, and have since realized I am not good at that. anyway. I hope you like them Diane and Dennis.

Glad it arrived safe and sound Bob. The "Valley of the Waters" is a canyon in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney. The streams on the plateau converge and drop down the canyon, leading to many lovely waterfalls and lush vegetation. It's a nice contrast to most of the dry areas around Sydney's hinterland.

Jim Moore is the last of the three amigos in Gp2, but I have not had any luck obtaining his address, so he seems to be out of circulation for the time being.

Christian, yours should arrive any day now...

Glenn, I think I've got Jim's address but unless you can contact him 1st I'm not sure sending the print is worthwhile. Yell out if you you'd like me to have a look for it.

Thanks Nige, I agree that sending a print without a message back from Jim is not a good idea. I hope to hear from him in due course.

Thanks for the offer anyway.

Thanks guys. I have received Glenn's and Barrie's waterfall prints from Australia. They are beautiful, truly.
I have also received Jeremy's Palladium print. Jeremy, wonderful print and perfect to compensate my so far silver only colection.

I am already signed up for the round 5. The print exchange has proven very exciting and rewarding, see you next exchange.

What are the odd's of two of us sending you waterfalls? And, would you believe that print is the first waterfall shot I've ever tried

I received your print today Larry. I like it. Snow scenes are tough, but you've done a great job with this one. Thanks for the print!

hi all,
i'm new here and would very much like to participate
i read the links mentioned above but am still unsure on the details
i understand groups of 4 or 5 so i would send 3 or 4 prints
would i send prints of the same image? or various images?
what size preferred?
are prints to be mounted or unmounted?
should prints be signed and numbered?
how are prints best packaged?
how do i get names and addresses?

hope these questions are not 'rude'
plz advise
